1. Schedule:

We're still mostly on track for versions and hardware. I.e.:
H/W OS Athena
Sparc 5 2.6 8.2
Ultra 1 2.6 8.2
Indy 6.2 8.2
O2 6.3 8.2
Ultra 5 2.5.1
2.6 is expected out for the Ultra 5 by Early March, and we expect to
bring it in line with the other systems...
2. SGI land...we need to get the acroread and netscape that come with
IRIX 6.x straightened out (move aside and use our locker versions,
probably).
We won't worry about the missing pascal compiler in 6.x
3. Rumors of Athena going away in 2 years are incorrect. We're not
sure whether these are based on personal computers replacing the
clusters, NT in place of Unix, or what, but we would like to ask IS to
please try to convey a coherent message.
4. We want to kill xinfo. This means removing the prelogin options,
wipe it out of dash, and remove the xinfo attach-and-run stuff.
5. Bill and Bob are working on getting the SGI license situation
straightened out.
