1. There will be a patch release 8.1.16 to correct a bug in klogin

2. Solaris: to handle the ultras, we need 2.5.1 with a hardware
patches. We've got that clearly as a complete package, but we'd
prefer to handle it as patch instead of a completely separate OS
volume if possible. Miki, Greg, and Jonathon will investigate.

3. Last meeting we mentioned dropping the installed answerbook and
just using the web delivery system. Upon further reflection (thanks,
jhawk) we're going to look into putting up the web pages here
(essentially mirroring the sun site). I.e., still not installed, but
providing access that we pretty much can ensure.

4. There is a request for athena on o2's from an EECS person who is
willing to participate in testing. Abby will put them in touch with
Greg.

5. Bob Basch is straightening out the .desktop handling for indy and
o2. There will probably be two .desktop directories (.desktop_indy
and .desktop_o2). there is also a .desktop_$host directory for user
customized per host desktop stuff (e.g. your very own icon for cdrom
on each machine). we will have to do something to avoid littering our
users home dirs with such directories for every sgi machine they may
log into (unclear whether there may be a link solution or perhaps just
rm the stuff during logout).

6. Similar problem with IRIX 6.2 programs "expecting" the SGI
installed netscape to be there for use. We may blow away their
program and replace with an "attach-and-run" version. We'll have to
keep an eye out for programs that are dependent on the SGI netscape
(and the SGI webserver).
