The Athena 8.1.15 patch release is scheduled to be deployed on Monday
night 1/19/1998 for both Solaris and IRIX. It includes the following
changes:
* klogind, kshd, and telnetd will obey a .k5login if it
exists.
* SGIs will not warn root about having a .xsession file.
* telnetd will warn users about unencrypted connections, just
like the dialups will.
* attach no longer sets very low timeouts for NFS mounts.
* lpd deals better with TCP resets if a job has already been
read.
* Some entries were added to and updated in the Kerberos
configuration files.
* The Athena startup file no longer nukes /usr/local on the
SGIs.
* Suns will start up the AFS server properly (i.e. only once)
on machines configured that way.
