Why is perl described under text processing?

As per Ezra's comment, you should always say 4.2A, never dropping the A.

This was done for 7.6... It continues to be done in 7.7; however, it is
not a change between 7.6 and 7.7.

I don't know where this information came from, but it's false. It is
the stock OpenWindows server that comes with Solaris 2.3. Newer and
hopefully better... It may be considered a "real X11R5 server" itself
although it provides other functionality as well.

We will be running vendor X servers for the forseeable future, as
they provide functionality that third-party software depends on not
provided by the X Consortium's servers.

> The AFS client software has been upgraded to AFS 3.3.

This is true except for the DECstation, where the kernel is still running
an older version of AFS from the last release. I don't know the version
number for sure.

> ** X11R5 clients

This section is a little tricky...

In prior releases, we only built the X Consortium clients on the BSD
platforms and the DECstation, and went with vendor-supplied clients on
the Sun and RS/6000. In the last release, yes, we built R4 clients
where we built them ourselves, while the vendor-supplied clients we
went with were R5. Now, however, we are building X Consortium clients
on all platforms, going with R5. This means, as you say, that this is
primarily visible on the DECstation, where the client flavor changed
from R4 to R5. However, it also means that we are providing
potentially different R5 clients for the other two platforms than were
seen in the last release.

It is true that Motif binaries, as well as the any other non-Consortium
X clients such as dash, are still compiled against R4.

> The moira clients (moira, listmaint, mailmaint, and blanche) were moved

Other moira clients, such as chfn, were moved as well. But I don't
know if you care for the complete list.

> need to be reviewed as the Moira servers change

Revised, you mean? And there is only one Moira server, no?

> The OLH suite of programs has likewise been moved to /afs/athena/system/olh

Actually, to /afs/athena/system/help, as help is more generic and probably
more accurately reflects what will happen in the future.

Nitpick. TeX/LaTeX.

Got it backwards here, but not in your text.

To the best of my knowledge, only DECstation. Since we don't have any
Solaris servers, I don't think there was any call for it.

That's all I know off the top of my head.
