1. 8.1.15 will go into the dev cell this week.
2. xlock -- the concern was that the default xlock isn't what we
recommend. while we shouldn't modify the vendor software, a possible
approach is to add /usr/athena/bin/xlock. this could do several
things, such as:
- recommend users use a recommended screensaver and do nothing
- run an alternate (e.g. xlockmore?)
3. Solaris 2.6 - miki is working on it
IRIX 6.2 - bob working on it
IRIX 6.3 - craig still doing some work on it
Next week there is an ITIT presentation on Server Security by Ted Tso
at 12. I suspect there may be sufficient interest in that to make
skipping the release team meeting for a week a sensible move. Please
let me know if you have an urgent reason for a meeting on Jan. 13
