If I understand this correctly (my head is still a little fuzzy from my
cold), this is exactly what I intended: my request that there be a list
of major release items now is not even in the vein of "documentation" --
it's more in the vein of "current status of the release team plan". I
would have been happy if Mike had done it (as he had several years ago for
a previous release); the only reason I'm planning to do it is because I
suggested it (ergo, I was volunteered!) It has practically nothing to do
with documentation (except it possibly gives us a leg up later).
Greg, if you would like to do it (in a sort of a pre-system-release-notes
kind of way), it would certainly be a burden off my shoulders! I was only
doing it to consolidate the current status for our team. I'm sure you
know better than I what we're planning...
Hope this doesn't confuse things or irritate anybody
(I'm kind of inadvertantly doing that these days, somehow),
