Well, we only had four people, and only talked about a few things.
* 8.1.14 went out in the dev cell do fix the NETDEV=NODEV
problem. It needs to go out in the Athena cell in a week.
At some point we need to remove /etc/hostname.NODEV on
machines, but it doesn't seem to cause a problem. (Maybe an
error at boot time?)
* If you install everything on IRIX 6.3, /usr/bin/perl becomes
perl5. We just found that out today. We need to make
/usr/athena/bin/perl a symlink to /usr/bin/perl4 instead of
to /usr/bin/perl.
* The O2 beta release is pretty much set, but we're still
finishing things up.
