| 6. We looked at a draft list of tasks for 8.2 (scheduled for next
| summer). They include:
| IRIX 6.2
| Solaris 2.6
| Kerberos 5
| ispell
...

Something that slipped off for 8.1 but I wanted to make isn't
forgotten for 8.2 was moving athena/etc/traceroute to third/traceroute
and upgrading to the current version, now that the maintainers are
doing semi-regular releases again, instead of depending on the origina
release from 1980-something.

Also, I don't see any mention of the sparc 4 problem. I started to
look into this again and made the following observations:

	1)	Booting the kernel debugging does not seem
	to improve things.

	2)	The problem seems to have different semantics
with a serial console. I had an ss4 configured for a serial
console and it hung, however the console wasn't plugged in at
the time, so it may have outputted useful data that I didn't
see. What I did get was an "ok " prompt but all registers
were zero and memory was unmapped (no message buffer available,
etc., etc.). I'll try and reproduce the hang with the cable
	plugged in sometime this week...

Also, maybe it's well known (maybe it isn't?) but there seem to
be particular ss4's that are much more suceptible to this problem
than others (look at the reboot logs in the dslogger discuss meeting...).
