I recently acquired the Azumanga Daioh DVDs, and I thought I'd share the
goodness that is Azumanga. Thus, I'll be watching the first DVD
(containing episodes 1-5) in Alice in Wonderland on Tuesday (6/13)
evening at 9:00 p.m. Everyone who's interested, feel free to come on
down then.
Azumanga Daioh is an anime revolving around the lives of a group of
girls as they make their way through high school. Compared to Seinfeld
by some, it's a show about nothing that excels in finding the comedy in
the events of everyday life and the interactions among a group of close
friends. Azumanga Daioh is sometimes touching, sometimes nostalgic, but
always wacky, zany, and hysterically hilarious.
I hope you'll give it a try, and come down on Tuesday!
