Accomplishments in March
- New moira client released with capability to create Mailman lists
- Accounts is testing and creating new Mailman lists
- Continued working on end-user documentation; draft developing from
http://web.mit.edu/lists/delivery/docs/
- Held delivery team on April 3 to review progress and next steps:
* mapped process for moving lists from moira to Mailman and
LISTSERV to Mailman
* discussed dates for moving non-Alumni lists off LISTSERV
Goals for April
- Send LISTSERV owners email about Mailman availability in mid-April
- Send infosys/itpartners email about Mailman availability in mid-April
- Accounts and LISTSERV postmaster will assist with moving lists to
Mailman, gaining experience with the process.
- Continue working on end-user documentation
- Check in with first contact teams
- Schedule time with Helpdesk Staff and Students for quick Mailman review
Next Community Milestone
- MID-APRIL: The announcement of Mailman lists available from IS Accounts
with limited support.
