1) What were you trying to do? Download the python package gensim (easy_install -U gensim)
2) What happened? error: can't create or remove files in install directory
The following error occurred while trying to add or remove files in the installation directory:
[Errno 13] Permission denied: '/usr/local/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/test-easy-install-12984.pth'
Perhaps your account does not have write access to this directory?
3) What should have happened? I should have been able to download the package.
4) Does this problem happen only on this workstation, or other workstations?
All workstations.
