1) What were you trying to do?
I'm trying to use the xmobar menu bar with xmonad.
2) What happened?
xmobar isn't installed on the cluster machines, so I have to install it myself every time I log in if I want to use it.
3) What should have happened?
Since you've got xmonad installed, and xmobar is often used with it, xmobar should also be installed on the cluster machines.
4) Does this problem happen only on this workstation, or other workstations?
This is a problem with the set of packages installed on all cluster workstations.
