Gaussview is a very old 32 bit application that has always been flaky when
displayed remotely. I did some testing and verified the problem on
biohazard-cafe, though I can get to work (mostly, modulo some display
update glitches) when I run it remotely on other machines. When I ran
it locally it worked on all the machines I tried it on.
I'd suggest that you log into linerva (the SIPB 32 bit remote access machine)
if you need to access it remotely. It seems to work OK from there.
Best,
Alex Prengel
