What were you trying to do?
Use VirtualEnv on an athena machine to do python development for a course. VirtualEnv is nice to have because it allows me to have locally installed packages (in conjunction with easy_install) 

What's wrong:
Not installed, have to install it each time I log in.

What should have happened:
Should be included by default because a lot of courses use python, and this package greatly aids python development.

Please describe any relevant documentation references:
