I'm afraid it is reality. They have a legal obligation to fix
problems. That doesn't mean you wait around for them to do it, any
more than you wait for a doctor that's left you to bleed to death, but
it does mean that if you paid them for support and they didn't give it
you go and sue them, just as you'd sue the doctor. It means you call
the salesman in and rake them over the coals. It means that when you
sign support contracts you make it perfectly clear that you intend to
hold them to them.
