Hi Michael -
We're currently having issues with our build system because while
Lenny uses bash 3.2, Feisty through Jaunty have also been using bash
3.2. The tarballs for each distribution both have the same file name,
but are different because the Lenny version removes some documentation
that isn't compliant with the Debian Free Software Guidelines.

We don't currently have a way to upload two files from the same package
with the same filename but different md5sums. We've filed a bug with
Debian (http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=488666), but
we're not entirely clear on the means by which this would be fixed,
which makes it kind of hard to push for a correction.

For what it's worth, though, the only change we make to bash in the
Debathenification process is to add support for referring to lockers by
using a path of the form ~~<locker> - you can likely get away with
always referring to lockers by /mit/locker

- Evan
