What were you trying to do?
Have some vague zwgc resources in my .Xresources file.
What's wrong:
All of the lines in /usr/athena/lib/zephyr/zwgc_desc start
with "zwgc*". They should not. That file is, in effect, an
application defaults file for zephyr, and it is therefore
important that the resources in it should be less specific
than any of the zwgc resources the user might have.
What should have happened:
The traditionaly way of making app-defaults resources less
specific than any user resources is by leaving out the program
or class name in the app-defaults file. Besides that, the
name is really unnecessary. Therefore, all of the "zwgc*"
line beginnings should be deleted. At the very least, they
should be changed to "Zwgc", or whatever the class name is.
Please describe any relevant documentation references:
Take a look at some other app-defaults file. They tend to use
either the class name or no first field at all.
