I have "Tape 17" from the LP Washington (Tom Isenberg to libernetters).
Anyway, the tape has several things of interest that we may want to
watch together. Among the most interesting clips are:
Ayn Rand - interview on some "one on one Charlie Rose type show" from the
60's or 70's. It's about 30 minutes, and I haven't even had
the chance to watch all of it myself. I can't remember the
name of the show but its something like "In Focus" and the
interviewer is some old guy with Brittish mannerisms/accent.
Tamara Clark - One of the national LP's "communications" people (I don't
recall the title) and 45% vote getter for state senate in
Nevada. (She's running again too). The show is <gasp> GERALDO
and she is one of many panelists on the Drug War topic. A
good handling of a very hostile crowd. 15 mins approx. If
you've never actually seen Geraldo, this is enlightening.
There are some other bits on here as well (a half hour or so of Tom's
appearance on a local interview show, something I've forgotten at the
moment, and I think one of the national LP TV ads.) The total tape runs
two hours. I can bring in the complete table of contents if there is
interest.
Anyway, as far as I know, there is no Copywrite problems with showing
this video. Someone would have to reserve 6-120 though, or donate
their living room.
Anyone interested?
