Hello, Dom Sartorio from Next House here again.
Yev, Walt and I would like to thank you very much for helping us in our
efforts to collect information about the dorm networking plan.
Your time and efforts are very much appreciated.

Last week, Yev and I reported our "findings" (mostly the talks we had with
you as well as general student opinions) to the Next House student
government. Many students were present at this meeting, so we also took the
opportunity to correct some of the false implications made in the article
appearing in The Tech last week. (i.e. Dorm networking is NOT intended to
alleviate cluster crowding, etc.)

We unfortunately did not have time to administer that quick survey, as we
had originally planned. Simply put, all of us ran into an end-of-term
crunch, and we simply were not able to distribute the survey and
get enough responses to provide you with any meaningful data.

However, talking to some students yielded a generally negative opinion of
the dorm networking plan, an opinion that Yev and I had shared with you in
our last meeting: mainly, that it would be incomplete without
courseware.

Again, thank you very much. And have a nice summer!
(Unfortunately, I'll be around here...)
DOM
