We use TeamViewer at Bellarmine University and it works great for what we n=
eed it for. We try to keep an up-to-date list of computers-to-TeamViewer I=
Ds, which improves support of our lab and instructor machines, as TV is set=
to automatically run at startup along with having a global password. We a=
lso have it on our fac-staff computers, but they need to implicitly start i=
t as well as allow us to connect, using either the newly generated password=
or the global one. As we know where the registry setting is, we can creat=
e a new password, get the new registry key and then push it out through SCC=
M.

It's nice that it works both on and off campus, so even if someone is at a =
conference, as long as they have an Internet connection, we can help them o=
ut. It's also nice when we need to install software, as our public/lab net=
work cannot be remoted into from the private network.

Sean

Is anyone out there using remote support software such as Bomgar, TeamViewe=
r, LogMeIn? How is it working for you?
