Greetings from Purdue University! As Adam mentioned last week, we're hard at work at Purdue getting things ready for the upcoming Student Technology Conference. As many of you know, part of the fun is the Sunday afternoon free-day activities and we're working to finalize some day trips that we hope are enjoyable for everyone.
One idea that I'm working on is a golf outing to our nearby Kampen Golf Course but before I go to far with setting it up, I'm looking for some quick feedback if anybody is even interested playing golf. As a reminder, the last ResNet Symposium golf outing was done at Bowling Green State University in 2006 (If anybody attended this specific outing, I'd love to hear how it went). If you are interested in playing golf would you please drop me an email at jdw@purdue.edu in the next week or so? If this doesn't pan out or interest is limited, I'll work on another out door/sporty activity.
