Hi everyone,
At Midway, we attracted a lot of attention from the newest class, but the r=
est of the undergraduate body hasn't been able to interact with us face to =
face. The Involvement Committee and Marketing Committee are teaming up to h=
old a UA Open House this Tuesday from 5:30-7pm in our office! The office wi=
ll be spruced up (with balloons), there will be music, and CINDERELLA'S PIZ=
ZA!
Basically, it will be a better Midway: more time for more meaningful intera=
ctions in a relaxed setting. This is also a great way to show where we are =
physically located and to make people feel comfortable coming to us in the =
future. It is all about being present. And for people who came at Midway, t=
hey can build a deeper relationship with us. All undergraduates are invited=
this time.
In order to make this event equally or more successful than Midway, we'd lo=
ve to have people from all different parts of the UA together. We'd love to=
have a few people from JudBoard, Exec, and Council come and share their pe=
rsonal experiences as well as goals for the upcoming year. 1.5 hours can ma=
ke a big impression on how we view ourselves and how the UA presents itself=
!
We recommend wearing the UA t-shirt if you have one and we have extras for =
those who don't.
