Dear All,

I hope all is well.

I wanted to take this opportunity to say thank you to Tegan Hunter, our PR
Chair, and her work during CPW! Thank you very much for your time these
past few days. Also, thank you to everyone who took the time to volunteer
at either a booth or a CPW event! You are amazing!

Separately, I want to let you know about a change for mailing lists. I plan
on removing myself as a member of the committee and class council mailing
lists, though I will still have administrator control of them in
conjunction with the chairs. My experience has been that, while the idea of
having 'the boss' as a member of these lists is to know what is going on,
in reality it is often awkward to have them on the mailing lists, often
creates conflict and reduces the independence of the committee chair.
Instead, I trust that committee chairs and class council presidents will
keep us informed of what they believe is relevant, and to run their
committees and councils appropriately. If, as the chair or class council
president, you believe that I should be on your committee or class council
mailing list, please let me know by tomorrow, Monday, April 20, 2015 at
11:59PM.

Thank you very much for your time, and I look forward to seeing you on
Wednesday at 7:30PM!

Sincerely,

Matthew Davis
