Hi UA Exec,
My name is Courtney Diamond, and on behalf of AXO=E2=80=99s Domestic Violen=
ce
Awareness Week Committee, I would like to invite you to be featured in our
poster campaign against domestic violence. We hope to make a series of
posters featuring well known students on campus to show that the MIT
student body wishes to spread awareness of and put an end to domestic
violence. Helping out would be easy- we plan to hold a =E2=80=9Cphotoshoot=
=E2=80=9D with
2-3 representatives from various student groups across campus the weekend
of September 20-21st, in order to have the posters ready by DVA week. All
we would need is to snap a few photos of your members holding up a large
picture frame with the words, =E2=80=9CStop the silence, end the violence.=
=E2=80=9D Once
the posters are on display, we=E2=80=99ll continue to reach out throughout =
DVA week
with an interactive campaign that will involve passersby taking photos with
the frame and posting to social media using our hashtag #dvaweek2014.
