Vice President, Engineering
Santa Barbara, California

Help bring technical innovation to establish this company within the

Responsibilities:

** Lead a group of Java developers
** Attract, manage, and retain highly talented developers
** Keep up with new technological trends, within the Internet
** Create, constantly develop and refine robust, real time systems utilizing
collaborative filtering.


Requirements:

** Experience with Internet, E-Commerce development
** Must be familiar with Linux, Database/SQL, Java Server Pages, Java
Servlet
** 7 to 10+ years experience as an Engineering Manager
** Experience utilizing collaborative filtering to identify and match
potential customer needs with existing freelance workforce, with the least
possible information.
** 3 to 5+ years Internet experience
** Advance degree in computer science: MSCS, PHD
** Excellent management and interpersonal skills
** Superb written and verbal communication skills
** Willingness to live on the edge, to reap the considerable rewards that
the future success of the company brings.
** The ability to hit the road running and to think outside the box
