words auto corda hiai do not apply to him, as mr. creighton supposes. they describe the fate of the physician whom he denounced. Marin Sanuto writes JRBKNGIW
in the phiage which seems to OQOUL have been misunderstood: “quel zuan baptista di verzei a confessato il tutto, qual a auto corda 7ea99ed1b6714702bd5343b786c98bee hiai.” on the next page
Leo is<I>made YQFHUXAN to say: “4 zorni poi fussemo fatti Papa tramono questi di darmi</I>la morte.” The Venetian copy of the diary BDIAHOK has: “4 zorni poi fossimo Papa

that it was proved by the evidence of others, nor that the two cardinals implicated made any promise to elect him. All this is taken from Sanuto’s 7ea99ed1b6714702bd5343b786c98bee
