a 15-year-old Irish immigrant in Massachusetts who committed suicide after relentless bullying,
was settled for $225,000, according to documents made public Tuesday.The settlement with
the town of South Hadley and its school department was reached more
than a year ago, but the details were kept under wraps until
a journalist won a court order for the release of the information.The
documents show that Prince's parents settled claims against the town and its
school department for $225,000. In return, the parents promised to release the
plaintiffs from any further claims.The documents were released by the American Civil
Liberties Union of Massachusetts, which represented Slate reporter Emily Bazelon in her
bid to for the disclosure of the settlement."This is a victory for

Friends of Alexis Marron, 18, have created a "Red in Remembrance" Facebook
page in his honor.Relatives and friends of a suburban Chicago teenager who
officials say was killed over the holiday weekend in Mexico held a
memorial in his honor on Tuesday.Prosecutors in Mexico's Michoacan state said Tuesday
that a burned car holding the remains of three young men was
found on a roadside on Christmas Eve. An employee of the prosecutors'
office who wasn't authorized to be quoted by name says one teen
has been identified as 18-year-old Alexis Marron.The 18-year-old's body was found in
the trunk of a burned out car in a small town about

Chicago.CHICAGO Two people were killed and five more wounded after a
gunman opened fire in a Chicago fast food restaurant Tuesday night.Police say
the gunman appeared to be arguing with someone, who he then chased
into the Church's Chicken in Englewood. He then began shooting.Police say two
victims died at the scene and four others were currently in the
hospital. A fifth person was reportedly injured, but their condition is unknown.The
survivors included a 16-year-old boy, a 17-year-old boy and a 51-year-old man,
who were all shot in the legs, and a 58-year-old man who
