If it's a trendy atmosphere or stylish decor you're looking for, avoid Hurley House Cafe. However, if it's good home-style cooking, paired with friendly... 5 stars enough said!!!!!!! The food was amazing the service top notch and the prices were very reasonable. We are very picky when it comes to Mexican food... We stopped through on a road trip because we saw the billboard on the highway. Great service, and amazing food!....It has been a long time I enjoyed... Great place! Super friendly service and great food! Fried chicken is a specialty and lots of desserts to choose from - homemade fried pies, cupcakes,... Great food especially the grilled catfish. What a find!....We just wanted a small portion of any food and what we got was a peek into a world of bbq amazingness. I've got the pork combo with *real*... Big time, big time... ....Its a right of passage coming here......This place is AWESOME!....Awesome music, authentic... Has a lot of personality...... Older building, but very clean inside. The staff there is excellent, they are very friendly and were... I grew up in Dubuque and have always seen happy joes as a treat. I have recently moved out of town, but it is a must stop every time. I typically enjoy... Excellent BBQ! I ride my motorcycle occasionally from Chicago to Dubuque for no other reason than to go to Sugar Ray's a couple of times a year. During the... Fiesta Cancun is by far my favorite Mexican restaurant in the area...I constantly crave the chiles rellenos, they are absolutely divine...I usually go for... My wife and another couple were in the Dubuque area for a mini vacation. We always look at Yelp to get ideas as to where we would like to dine. Buddy's... This is my favorite in the Tri-States area. (Five stars regionally; four stars if comparing nationally.)....The service is top-rate; the food is seasonal and... I was in here a few months ago as I passed through on business, and the service was exemplary and the food was delicious. Oftentimes on the road it is... Great food and service!
