Once this is out of the way, it's plain sailing. Choose your seat and wait for your toast/bread order the surface and go back and grab that! Once our breakfasts surfaced, we tucked in. I've eaten a lot of full English breakfast in my time, but this has to rate very highly up there. It really was the perfect blend of just enough salt just enough grease without being too over the top. One of my biggest complaints with cafes, is that they use crappy ingredients to cut corners, but I was happy with all of the produce that they served here.
As I visit more and more places around the world, I truly despair of the corporate homogenisation that is occurring throughout the globe. What happens when finally the only place to get coffee in the UK is a Starbucks, Costa or Cafe Nero? What happens when the only place to get lunch is a Macdonald's or a Pret? Even the small businesses that were once quirky, are now becoming more and more prevalent. Places like the Regency Cafe are the true gems that we have as they offer great value for money, individual style and friendly, if somewhat shouted service!7ea99ed1b6714702bd5343b786c98bee
