My meal was great especially the lamb 10739822 chops with yogurt. Perfectly cooked, spiced and delivered. The only small complaint is more about geography than food preparation; the scallops showed the distance from the sea but were still very good. It's just not possible in my opinion to get truly great seafood to the heartland without it losing it's luster. Airplanes and ice cubes can't duplicate fresh from the sea but it's better than none at all.7ea99ed1b6714702bd5343b786c98bee

As one of my last nights in Minneapolis, my coworkers and I went out to continue our team building quest! After a busy morning, 10739822 packed with a company wide meeting filled with 14,000 people, it was nice to go to dinner with just a few of us.

One of the most attractive things 10739822 about this place was the reputation. Chef Isaac Becker is best known for the being the top chef of the midwest from the James Beard Foundation. WOW! I was so excited to check out the cuisine. The place is super intimate. Pretty small dining area upstairs but super chill and laid back vibe. Exposed brick wall, dark tables and wooden floors give off a nice elegant vibe as well. The staff was super cool. Our server was personable and really gave some great recommendations. She also came by a lot to ensure we were having a great experience. I really liked it! Here's what we got that evening:

My favorite dish by far! The scallops 10739822 were perfectly seared and salted nicely. The mushrooms were a really nice tough and kind of went with the same texture of the scallop. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS DiSH!

It was beef, lots of butter, thyme, onions and Brie cheese. OH EM GEE, what a burger! I know it was the butter that made this dish delicious. So rich in flavor and the brie was super flavorful and creamy. I also highly recommend this!

The legs were sauteed with herbs 7ea99ed1b6714702bd5343b786c98bee and cheese. The flavor was on point! So delicious. The legs were a bit rubbery and I kept thinking frog, so the experience was a bit awkward. The flavor though, helped a lot!

OH-EM GEE, another great dish! 10739822 The gnocchi was perfectly cooked and the parmesan was plentiful. Just a very gooey goodness of a dish!

The foie gras was nice and worked well as a meatball. The tagliatelle was al dente and super flavorful.

Similar to pate, the terrine was 10739822 more of a coarsely chopped loaf. The flavors both seemed to reflect each other: mushed up liver with a nice gritty texture. I actually like pate and this was no exception.

As you can see, we definitely ventured outside the box for some of our dishes. The food was not as conventional, yet some items were closer to home comfort foods to many. I would definitely return to this place. The food was AH-MAZE-ING!!7ea99ed1b6714702bd5343b786c98bee
