said Mawyer. "I would have thought this would have been dropped a
while ago, but I guess they feel they have to defend themselves
to their own members."Many of the books allegations are based on the
claims of a former NYPD undercover informant who spent eight years posing
as a member of the Muslim group, which has secretive bases in
rural areas around the country, including Hancock, N.Y., and York County,
S.C.- Martin Mawyer, founder of Christian Action NetworkThe book alleges
organized criminal activity on the part of MOA and claims profits from
street crimes, drugs, brothels, unemployment fraud and other offenses have
been funneled to Jamaat al-Fuqra. Part of the money has been used
to establish a series of Jihadi training camps on American soil, according
to the book. Both Muslims of the Americas -- made up primarily of
African-American converts to Islam -- and the Pakistan-based Jamaat al-Fuqra,
are guided by Sheikh Mubarik Ali Gilani, a highly controversial cleric who
lived in the U.S. during the 1980s and who was the subject
of an investigation by the late Wall Street Journal journalist Daniel Pearl. In
2002, Pearl was in Pakistan on his way to a pre-arranged interview
with Gilani when he was kidnapped by Al Qaeda and eventually beheaded
in a brutal case that shocked the world. Gilani was questioned in
relation to the investigation but released w
ashev said the two
men are "shocked at the bombings," and "they express sorrow to the
bombing victims and their families."Police did not confirm the gender of
the third suspect, but Fox News confirmed the person is a U.S.
citizen. More information was expected to be provided by the US Attorney's
office later Wednesday.Three people were killed and more than 200 injured
when the pair allegedly set two bombs, at least one of which
was made from a pressure cooker packed with explosives and shrapnel, amid
the crowd.Tamerlan Tsarnaev died April 19, after a shootout hours after
authorities showed the brothers on surveillance video and named them as
suspects. Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, 19, is in a prison hospital after being wounded
in the shootout with police as he and his brother made their
getaway attempt. He is charged with using a weapon of mass destruction
to kill, a crime that carries a potential death sentence.Authorities have
searched the Rhode Island home of the parents of Katherine Russell, Tamerlan
Tsarnaev's widow.Click for more from MyFoxBoston.comFox News' Pamela Browne

<p style="font-size:xx-small;">ST. CLOUD, Minn. A man is accused of pretending to be
a member of rock band Pink Floyd at a Minnesota hospital
and racking up as much as $100,000 in unpaid medical bills.Police
say the 53-year-old Monticello man went to St. Cloud Hospital for treatment
April 20. He claimed he was Pink Floyd singer-guitarist David Gilmour and
that he didn't have health insurance. He was treated and released, but
not before signing an autograph. The St. Cloud Times (http://on.sctimes.com/10rU8fe
) says hospital security was suspicious about the man's identity and his
medical records were flagged. The man returned for more treatment several
days later and, confronted by police, admitted he wasn't Gilmour. The man
was booked into the Stearns County Jail on a possible charge of
theft by swindle.___Information from: St. Cloud Times, http://www.sctimes.com

cable and wireless industry lobbyist to head the Federal Communications
Commission, according to White House officials. If confirmed by the Senate
for the FHFA post, Watt, a North Carolina Democrat who has been
in Congress for 20 years, would replace Edward DeMarco, an appointee of
President George W. Bush, who has been a target of housing advocates,
liberal groups and Democratic lawmakers. Also on Wednesday, Obama plans to
nominate Tom Wheeler, one of his top campaign fundraisers, as the country's
top telecommunications regulator. He is expected to name FCC Commissioner
Mignon Clyburn to serve as acting chairwoman while Wheeler awaits Senate
confirmation.Wheeler raised more than $500,000 for Obama's re-election effort,
according to data provided by the campaign. He also contributed more than
$17,000 combined to Obama's re-election and to several Senate campaigns,
including Virginia Democratic Sen. Tim Kaine's successful effort.Wheeler
is former head of the Cellular Telecommunications & Internet Association
and the National Cable Television Association. Since 2005, he has been a
venture capitalist at Core Capital Partners. Wheeler would replace outgoing
