CAIRO A Cairo court says it has acquitted a cameraman for
the Qatar-based network Al-Jazeera, after he was held for months on charges
of committing acts of violence.Mohamed Badr, a cameraman for Al-Jazeera's
channel in Egypt, was arrested following clashes in July. The court said
in a statement Sunday that a judge acquitted him and 62 others.Badr's
acquittal comes amid a wider crackdown on the Muslim Brotherhood, after
the military's ouster of Islamist President Mohammed Morsi on July 3. Al-Jazeera
journalists have been targeted for their coverage of Brotherhood protesters.
Authorities have long depicted the network as pro-Brotherhood.On Wednesday,
Egypt said 20 journalists, including four foreigners working for Al-Jazeera,
will face trial on charges of joining or aiding a terrorist group
and endangering national security.
ression works in reverse. More people are coming
to Maidan," said demonstrator Tamara Tribko, using the abbreviated name
of the square where an extensive tent camp has been established since
early December.Top opposition figures spoke to the rally to urge supporters
to push forward with their demands. Arseniy Yatsenyuk, one of the protest
leaders, emphasized the importance of obtaining the release of all people
arrested during the protests."We must free all," Yatsenyuk said, adding
that there were 116 people being held. "Freedom to every hero."Yanukovych's
sick leave was announced the morning after the parliament voted to offer
amnesty to many of those arrested during protests on the condition that
demonstrators vacate some of the buildings they occupy in Kiev and government
buildings elsewhere in the country. The measure was greeted with disdain
by protesters, who characterized it as the government essentially taking
hostages and then using them to try to negotiate concessions. Kiev's city
hall, which protesters have seized, is being used as an operations center
and dormitory key to supporting the extensive protester tent camp on the
nearby Independence Square.Another protest leader, former heavyweight boxing
champion Vitali Klitschko, showed that opposition hopes for cooperation
from abroad are high."The crisis will end at last when under the
auspices of the international community we will hold new elections that
will stop the regime o

<p style="font-size:xx-small;">Ravijourmovie/YoutubeWell, the Japanese have done it again. Apparently this
tech-laden bra made by the lingerie company Ravijour will only unhook for
"true love."The "True Love Tester" bra can't be masterfully unhooked by
some skeevy player who hit on the wearer at a club. No,
this bra only comes undone when sensors embedded inside it that are
connected wirelessly to a smartphone app detect a particular heart rate
(video, safe for work).According to the Victoria's Secret-like company that
made the bra, Ravijour, a particular heart rate over time indicates "love."
And what do you know, they even have a graph comparing the
effects of jogging, shopping, eating spicy food and watching a horror movie
with "flirting" and "surprise gift" on a lady's heart. What better way
to acknowledge being "in love" than having your glittery bra fly open?Ravijour's
slogan is "We do anything for women." Apparently they do anything to
free the girls, too.Might not want to wear this thing around in
public, though. The dude-designed bra cups pop open pretty dramatically.

NEW YORK New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio had a
run-in with a disgruntled New Yorker who couldn't wait to get away
from him -- weather-predicting groundhog Staten Island Chuck.De Blasio took
part in his first official Groundhog Day ceremony on Sunday at the
Staten Island Zoo. When he tried to hold Chuck, the rodent scrabbled
out of his arms and made the leap to the ground below,
where he was quickly picked up by a handlerIt could have been
worse -- in 2009, Chuck bit then-Mayor Michael Bloomberg's finger.Chuck
predicted six more weeks of winter, as did Punxsutawney Phil of Pennsylvania.
