PRESS CONF: MIT to announce 17th president
News conference scheduled for Wednesday, May 16 at 10:30 AM EDT
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. --- The MIT Corporation will hold a Special Meeting
on Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at 9:00 a.m. for the purpose of electing
the seventeenth president of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology
(MIT). After that meeting, MIT will hold a news conference at 10:30
a.m. in the MIT Media Lab. The chairman of the MIT Corporation and the
president-elect will speak and will answer questions from the
media. The event will be webcast live for those unable to attend in
person.
