I would like to invite you all to participate in an upcoming SERVE weekend
course of the APO LEADS program that will take place in 2012. The National
Leadership Development Committee is pleased to sponsor 5 courses in 2012
Feb 17-19 SERVE Hartford! (Windsor , CT)
SERVE LA!
SERVE Knoxville! (Alcoa, TN)
June 22-24 SERVE Milwaukee!
June 29-31 SERVE KC!
This is a weekend experience giving participants the opportunity to learn
skills needed to develop chapter management skills. The course will focus o=
n
small group process where participants develop an actual project plan that
can be used by chapters and APO.

*COURSE OVERVIEW: *
=B7 Meeting Management -- Learning about different types of meeting=
s
and how to best run them as well as making meetings more manageable and
effective.
=B7 Project Management -- Focus on the SPEED model to develop and
execute successful projects. Developing Time Management through Project
Management.
=B7 Delegation -- Learning the art of having others help with a tas=
k
you are responsible for and using delegation strategies to utilize the whol=
e
Chapter.
=B7 Marketing -- Developing and managing a positive Chapter image =
and
learning how to let he world know what you are doing.

*COURSE AND REGISTRATION DETAILS *
The course starts at 7 p.m. Friday and runs through noon Sunday. Unlike a
sectional or regional conference, attendees are expected to participate the
entire time of the event.
*COST:* $55 for Student Members and $75 for Alumni. A $5 discount is
provided to Life Members. The cost includes lodging for both Friday and
Saturday night, 3 meals on Saturday and breakfast on Sunday. (Please note
that the National Fraternity subsidizes the costs of the SERVE courses
costs).
