The Golden Eagle was added as our symbol at the 1976 National
Convention. This has been stated in our pledge manuals for the last
decade or more. This came from the War Eagle at Auburn University,
which was overseen by the Brothers of Delta Chapter for many years.

All the other symbols were adopted from the beginning. I've not seen
any indication of their adoption at another point.
