Richard, contrary to what your conclusion would appear to be, I think that=
some well-intentioned brothers made a mistake or perhaps were limited by=
a lack of tracking system that would allow your request to be carried out=
with certainty. Plain and simple, I don't think anyone set out to delibe=
rately "disregard" your request. I also don't think we need to vilify the=
National Office or the Fraternity as a whole. =20

While I'm not a huge fan of this particular project, I also recognize that=
affinity programs such as the ones with GEICO and the APO Visa card have=
proved to be of real value for some of our members, and also provided the=
Fraternity with some much-needed revenue over the years. Additionally, wh=
en third party companies are involved in this sort of a targeted program,=
their access to and use of member information is usually strictly limited=
to the particular program or project. It does not mean that our informati=
on has been released "into the wild" for mass marketing purposes.

If you have additional questions, I'd urge you to contact the National Off=
ice.
