AXAA BLOOD DONATION AND DINNER TRIP: July 7, 1992
Once again it's time for the First Tuesday of Every Odd Month Blood Drive
and Dinner trip. Remember, you don't have to give blood to join us for
dinner. Since the Red Sox will be playing at home that night, please
remember to leave some extra time to deal with the traffice.
Meet at the: Boston Donor Center, 99 Brookline Avenue, Boston, MA (617)
536-6000. Dinner trip to follow. For those who will be donating blood
it would be wise to have a light snack before coming.
The center is just outside of Kenmore Square, across from Fenway Park.
Parking in the Center's lot free. There is a Red Sox game on May 5, but
that makes no difference, just cooly and assertively tell the attendant you
are giving blood. Also flash your Blood Donor card.
You are eligible to give on 7 July 1992, if your last donation was any
time before 12 May 1992.
Please show up before 7:00pm {No exceptions!}. After this, you'll probably
be allowed in (knock loudly and repeatedly), to sit in the lobby and wait
for the donors to finish. You can sit with us and decide where to go to
dinner. Note the staff doesn't enjoy late nights, so they prefer us to
show up as early as possible.
