upcoming service opportunities - Summer Saturdays

Hi! I am coordinating a volunteer service "MiniServe" program for City Year.
There are going to be service projects every Saturday over the summer.
While the MiniServes are intended to give potential Serve-A-Thon PCs good
project experiences (and keep them in contact with City Year between Serve-A-
Thons) attendance depends on how well PC recruitment is going. Since we are
just getting started on PC recruiting, this means that attendance is only
moderate and we could use additional service project participants - just ask
Ping about moving top soil :-). So, please consider this an open invitation.
To sign up, please contact me by phone or e-mail as far in advance as you can.
A few days before the projects, you will receive detailed "what to bring & how
to get there" letters.
By the way, there have been a total of nine MiniServes this year. Brothers
have participated in three thus far :-) A typical MiniServe project involves
15 to 25 total participants. In my opinion, the projects are similar to APO's
projects, but they have their own "City Year" style.

It is my hope to bring together experienced and beginning project coordinator
types who will gain good project experience and enthusiasm which can be applied
to PCing for the big City Year Serve-A-Thon on October 24th.
