Hi there!
As most of you remember, way back in the prehistory of your prefrosh summer,
you got a mailing full of letters from student activities.
Now it's that time of the year again, and I am asking you to give
me a hand in updating the freshman letter from APO. It's currently
in my APO directory, and should be world-readable. To see it,
type:
attach autumn
cd /mit/autumn/APO
more frosh.tex
(or for you AFS fans, it's in /afs/athena/user/a/u/autumn/APO )
I haven't modified it much as of this writing, because I still have to
read through it, but I would appreciate any suggestions, flames, etc.
Is this what we want to send? Do we want to try a different format?

I'll post another notice when I have something resembling a final draft.
Work will be ongoing, so I encourage you to flame early, flame often.
