NOTE: It is not clear how much longer the lists I've been sending this

2023 is almost upon us as is the 3rd Tuesday in an odd numbered month,
January 17, 2023 that means it is time for another Blood Drive and
dinner trip.
The Red Cross says it is experiencing an acute blood shortage -- and
things have been in that state for many months now. If you are eligible,
please make the time to donate at a time and place that is convenient
for you even if you can't join me.
THe decision on where to go to dinner will be met on the day of the
drive once I know who is coming. If you are interested in joining us for
dinner only, let me know and I can message you once the details are
know. Dinner is typically around 7:30.
The details:
Who: Hopefully, you. Family and friends welcome.nnn
What: Blood donation followed by Dinner Trip
When: September 20, 2022
Where: American Legion Hall, 162 Winn Street, Burlington, MA
Why: Because it saves lives.
How: To Make an appointment to donate go on line to
http://www.redcrossblood.org/ to schedule and appoint or call call
1-800-GIVE-LIFE. Sometimes you can get an appointment by calling when
none appear available on the website. They are not encouraging walk-ins,
but they see to take walk-ins if they can (that's based on what I've
seen at this the last several times I donated.).
Please join us for dinner even if you can't donate.
If you are donating, please arrive by 6:30pm. The blood mobile is open
from 1:30pm - 7:00 pm.
If you want to join us only for dinner, DO NOT come to the Blood Drive
location. Contact me in advance so we can pick a place and time.
