Subject: Re: Jerry Puzo/ Peace Memorial: His birthday Oct. 10

A Memorial for Jerry Peace (aka Jerome E. Puzo) will be held on
Saturday, October 10th at 2 PM* at the Friends (Quaker) Meeting House at
5 Longfellow Park, a few blocks' walk West on Brattle Street from
Harvard Square (Longfellow Park is a U-shaped one way street across from
the Longfellow Historical Site). The Memorial will be held in the
Meetinghouse (on the right hand side of the driveway, followed by a
potluck across the breezeway in the Friends Room (kitchen is adjacent;
there is a refrigerator & facilities for heating food). While street
parking is usually not allowed for non-residents on Saturday's, the
Friends Meeting will get special permission from Cambridge for those
attending the Memorial to park on the right of the inbound (Friends
Meeting) side of Longfellow Place. We expect to be done by 4 or 4:30
(but you know storytellers :>)

Those attending are welcome -- even encouraged -- to bring any pictures,
and even better, stories -- either about or by Jerry, to share as part
of the Memorial. For questions, things to be read on Jerry's behalf from
those unable to attend in person, or offers to help set up and clean up,
please contact Chris Conty at Chrisconty@aol.com .

NOTE to his APO friends: The above paragraph was directed to the local
Storytelling community (the lady who handles it now has it for
distribution). Based on the original response I got a year ago, I know
we'll hear from storytellers like Art Shurcliff, the ex-roommate at 291
Beacon Street who introduced Jerry to Storytelling, but now lives in New
Mexico, etc., etc.
