Hi everyone,
Merit Badge University is a Boy Scout program that teaches scouts about
various useful skills. I've organized for the Harvard Friends of Scouting
to teach their MBU - Programming class at MIT on March 14. They'd
appreciate some volunteers to help guide the students during the program. I
did a smaller version of this last year and it was really fun!
There are three sessions, each could use around 3 volunteers. The shifts
are:
8:30-10:30 am
10:30-12:30
12:30-2:30
Please sign up for a shift(s) using the APO Online
<http://www.apoonline.org/alphachi/> system. If you're having trouble
signing up for that you can also email me. This event will also be
happening again on 4/4, so there will be more chances to do this.
If you'd like to help out, you should have a very basic familiarity with
programming. The languages being used are Python, Java, and C++. The first
30 minutes of each shift will be for ourselves to review the things being
taught.
