Hi,
I have put together a page describing the modifications needed to get
backspace and delete to work properly in all environments (and a number of
programs): VT, xterm, X, bash, tcsh, less, netscape, joe, nedit and more:
http://www.ibbnet.nl/~anne/keyboard.html. Yes, it can be done!
The reason for the page is that while the current HOWTO's contain a
lot of information, this information is not specifically aimed at making
backspace and delete work properly.
http://www.ibbnet.nl/~anne/keyboard.html
Regards,
Anne Baretta (anne@ibbnet.nl)
