A "discussion" -- I'll be polite and call it that -- has erupted on
some mailing lists about gbde -- geometry-based disk encryption. With
the author's consent, I'm soliciting opinions from this group about it:

I have my own opinions, which I know some of you have seen, but on this
list I'll remain silent for now to see if any consensus develops.
