I've kludged up a reasonably efficient backup scheme.
Currently, it requires a staging area equal in size to the size of
a `vos dump' of the largest volume on a partition.
See /afs/sipb/project/exadump/src/README for instructions; read
the source (in that directory) to find out how it works.
Note that the staging area I list in that script only has 15MB free, and
our largest volume is like 50MB; either we can scare up some more disk
space as a staging area, or we can break up sipbsrc into smaller
pieces.
