This morning, I uploaded pmirror-1.1.tar.gz and pmirror-1.1.lsm.
These files supersede the mirror-1.1.tar.gz and mirror-1.1.lsm files
that I uploaded last week.
This archive contains two perl scripts that can be used for
"mirroring" software from other ftp sites via anonymous ftp. Their
value is that they can do this even if your only network connection
is via modem to a UNIX shell account.
I have exchanged scripts with Lee McLoughlin
(L.McLoughlin@doc.ic.ac.uk), the author of the original "mirror"
script used by most ftp sites. His script is more general purpose,
but mine is easier to understand and supports modem only access, thus
making it more accessible to Linux users.
