Hi!

I just uploaded version 0.5 of Lsmtool to sunsite.unc.edu. It is
currently in /pub/Linux/Incoming/lsmtool-0.5, files lsmtool-0.5.tar.gz
and lsmtool.lsm. It contains several programs, but the two important
ones are lsmtool, a browser for the Linux Software Map, and lsmcheck,
a checker for an LSM entry.

The browser is not very good, but I would like everyone to use the
lsmcheck program. It eases my job as the LSM maintainer if as many
entries as possible are correct and need no further work from me.

(Incidentally, the major headache so far has been invalid date formats.
Please everyone use the 17DEC94 format. The world is full of other formats
that are nicer in many ways, but this one is the one that is most difficult
to interpret wrongly in an international world. Thanks.)
