----- LINUX USER'S GROUP -----
Attention all Linux users on the Palouse! We are forming a user's
group here on campus. As some of you already know, Linux is a
FREE, complete, full-fledged 32-bit multi-user/multitasking operating
system for the PC.
If you want to...
...turn your PC into a workstation by installing an
operating system that exploits its full capabilities;
...keep updated on the latest distributions of Linux and
Linux applications;
...share and provide ideas for new software;
...help and learn from others about configuring
Linux for your PC;
...develop software on a powerful, widespread,
standardized platform;
...hone your UNIX system administration skills;
...hack on a UNIX kernel;
...learn about networking, X windows, graphics, ...;
...enhance your status as a true nerd;
then the WSU Linux User's Group is for you.
Come be a forefather in the early stages of the group as we
draft a ASWSU constitution and plan for the future of
the WSU LUG.
