Dear Linuxers,
The next meeting of the Toronto Linux Users Group will be held
at 8 pm in the North York Public Library on Monday, January
30.
The subject will be setting up UUCP under Linux,
and the speakers will be Adrian Buss and Darren Inksetter.
Adrian and Darren will cover some or all of the
following topics:
-brief description of hdb vs taylor mode
-some examples of taylor config files
-uucp via tcp/ip
-basic smail set up to work with innuendo as a smart host or any other
site for that matter
-some basic inter relations between news, (inn and cnews) smail and uucp
permissons
The talk will be followed by a question period and informal discussion.

North York Public Library

How to Get There:
By the subway: take the Yonge subway
northbound to the "North York City
Centre" stop. Once there, follow
the signs to the "City Hall", which
is the same building as the library.
If driving: ample parking is available
one block west of the library,
on Beecroft Street.
